Diablo 3’s 2.4.0 is well underway! Set to be released before the end of the year (hopefully sooner!), the update will come with a whole new zone to explore for Adventure mode. Along with this, expect new enemies, D3 items, instances, achievements, content, and more. Read on!
Explore Greyhollow Island for Diablo 3 Items
The update (video here) boasts of a dark and mysterious island brimming with hellish enemies never before seen in Diablo 3. The island appears to be devoid of civilization–surely not a walk in a park for adventurers seeking gold and D3 items; however, it’s all the more reason to travel there! Not much has been released as of yet, and Blizzard does claim that whatever’s shown on the early footages may or may not be changed, but let’s hope it’s as good (or better) as what we’ve seen so far.
Diablo 3 Items and Massive Set Revamps Coming Soon
All new challenges mean fountains of loot. In fact, Blizzard has also released a first look of the 50 new Diablo 3 Legendary items and powers for you to collect! Expect class set revisions: a revised Barbarian set (Might of the Earth), revised Crusader set (Thorns of the Invoker), revised Demon Hunter set (Shadow’s Mantle), revised Monk set (Monkey King’s Garb), and more.
Better Diablo 3 Items, Plus the Revisited Legacy of Nightmares
Patch 2.4.0 will also have a ton of new and updated Diablo 3 Legendary items. While some are designed to enhance the class sets redesigned and / or revisited, there are plenty aimed to enhance class skills that previously lacked complementary Legendaries. Such items are: Blade of the Tribes, Heart of Iron, Elusive Ring, Kyoshiro’s Blade, Wilken’s Reach, and The Twisted Sword. And that’s not all! Diablo 3 items collectors who yearn for more than the power boost blessed by 6-piece sets, the revisited Legacy of Nightmares (also known as the ‘no set’ set) allows you to make your wildest build dreams a reality as it boosts damage and defense for every Ancient item equipped, given that there are no other set bonuses equipped.
Season-Exclusive Diablo 3 Items Bid Goodbye
Blizzard is, sadly, removing season-exclusive Diablo 3 items (Legendaries) from the game. Still, there are rewards in store for players who want to go back to square one! By the time you complete Chapter 4, you will be guaranteed a full six-piece set for your chosen class. You will receive two pieces at a time via Haedrig’s Gift, a new reward mailed directly to you after completing certain milestones throughout the game. Note that each gift can only be earned once, so choose wisely when you open these precious packages. The items you receive will be determined by the class who opens them. In addition to guaranteed class sets, the tradition of rewarding cosmetics for seasonal participation continues.
Finally, Season 5 also guarantees a unique pet and portrait frames, so good luck and prepare for new hours of gaming with your revamped Diablo 3 items!
