Diablo 3 introduces a new way to get items with item crafting. While, this feature is not entirely new, it’s a huge improvement over the old system. A good understanding of this system is important for anyone with a Diablo 3 account. This guide covers one of the two core NPCs related to this feature. If you want to earn extra Diablo 3 items through crafting, then read on.
Blacksmith services for Diablo 3 items
Haedrig Eamon is the guy to go to if you need a blacksmith. You first encounter him in New Tristram where he gives you a few quests. Afterwards he joins your Caravan. Haedrig offers Salvaging and Crafting services. The former allows you to break down D3 items for materials, while the latter uses the materials to make items. You can make Diablo 3 gold by selling the items generated from either process.
Using Black Smiths to improve your Diablo 3 Items
While having the blacksmith in your caravan is free, if you want to get the best out of him, you will need to level him up. Haedrig has 10 levels of proficiency going from Apprentice to Exalted. You can train him by giving him Diablo 3 gold, along with pages on tomes. As his level increases, he gets new titles and can craft higher level plans. Not a bad deal in the end.
