Crafting received two major changes in Patch 2.0.1 for Diablo 3. We’ll discuss these modifications that can alter how much you can earn Diablo 3 gold from crafted D3 items.
Easier materials for easier Diablo 3 gold
There are now only two tiers for crafting materials: items level 1-60 and items 60-70. This was done to reduce the amount of clutter on characters on a Diablo 3 account. Crafting recipes have also been simplified accordingly. Players can still sell crafted items or materials for Diablo 3 gold.
Get Diablo 3 gold for smart items
Crafted items will now use the Smart Drop system. Items that don’t use special patterns will roll stats related to the class crafting them. This makes crafting class specific items for Diablo 3 trading much easier. It’ll also make more efficient use of the Diablo 3 gold used when crafting.
